This is my final produce of my double page spread and consists of an interview with the new artist 'Samiye Mazlum' on the front cover. The language used by the artist is informal yet quite humerous.
For my background image I have an image of a band playing in a concert. To make the interview stand out, I positioned it onto a transparent background so you can also see the background slightly.
I created my title on 'Photoshop Elelmets' by using red rectangles to the left top corner of the page and writing on top of it in white copy - 'We get personal:' and again to get the signature effect just like my front cover I used the same font for 'Samiye Mazlum' and wrote underneath it again creating another red rectangle to make it stand out from the background and wrote on top of it 'Interview Exclusive' which indicates what the double page spread is about.
To add more to the page rather than just having an interview I separted the pge by inserting a slightly slanted line near the right of the page. In contrast to the interview on the right hand side of the line I included an outline about the 'MTV Awards'. I took a picture of two male people I knew to star in my magazine as R&B artists competing in the MTV Awards against other famous artists. I copied the MTV logo from the website 'www.google.com/images' because its a realistic music company. Also, because thier is limited information about this, I wrote 'For more details, see page 22'.
I have also again persisted the same house style throughout from my front cover, contents page to my double page spread.
